Since the implementation of its transformation strategy in 2018, Radisson Hotel Group has increased its business volume by close to 50%.

In 2023, Radisson Hotel Group achieved remarkable expansion by incorporating more than 30,000 rooms into its global collection of 10 renowned brands through new openings and agreements. Radisson Hotel Group achieved a new milestone in 2023 by adding the highest number of rooms to its portfolio, totaling over 30,000 rooms through new openings and agreements. For the 12th consecutive year, the Group’s flagship brand, Radisson Blu, maintained its position as the leading upper upscale brand in Europe.

Group’s 2023 portfolio and key destinations include:

Hotel Berlin, Berlin, the first Radisson Individuals property of the Group in the German capital, commenced operations as the city’s fourth largest hotel, boasting over 700 rooms and suites. Radisson Individuals also marked its entrance into the markets of Paris and Thailand with the respective launches of Hotel YAC Paris Clichy, a Radisson Individuals member, and Lewit Hotel Pattaya, also a Radisson Individuals member. Additionally, the Group unveiled two new properties in India under the Radisson Individuals brand, namely Uday Palace Navsari, a Radisson Individuals member located in Navsari, and Palchan Hotel & Spa, a retreat belonging to Radisson Individual Retreats situated in Manali.

Radisson Collection brand had a successful year in 2023, expanding its presence in various markets. The brand made significant announcements and established new properties in India, Nigeria, Egypt, and Lithuania. Additionally, they added another property in Belgium, Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels. In Milan, the highly anticipated Radisson Collection Hotel, Santa Sofia opened, becoming the brand’s fifth property in Italy and second in the capital of design and fashion.

After the May 2022 announcement, Radisson Hotel Group partnered with PPHE to expedite the global expansion of the art’otel brand in 2023. This integration added art’otel to the Group’s portfolio of ten distinct brands, offering a distinctive value proposition to guests and owners through its unique combination of art and lifestyle. Notable openings of art’otel include London Battersea Power Station and Zagreb, with upcoming openings in Rome and London Hoxton in the pipeline.

The Group embarked on an exceptional endeavor in the field of modern hospitality in November. They achieved this by unveiling a flagship Radisson Blu establishment, Radisson Blu Hotel at Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart. Simultaneously, they secured a contract for a new Radisson Blu hotel in the Triangle project in Paris, which will soon emerge as the city’s prime mixed-use destination. The upcoming Radisson Blu property, designed by the acclaimed architects Herzog & de Meuron, is poised to become a renowned architectural landmark. Furthermore, the Group made several significant announcements regarding upcoming Radisson Blu openings and signings in Jordan, Morocco, India, Turkey, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria.

In the year 2023, Radisson expanded its collection by nearly 40 properties through both openings and signings. The Group inaugurated the largest hotel in Zurich, Switzerland, and acquired new properties in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Radisson made its first appearance in exciting new destinations like the picturesque tropical island of Réunion, the enchanting Jewel of the Danube Budapest, and the captivating City of Winds Baku. Furthermore, the Group solidified its position in India with the launch of Radisson Hotel Sonamarg, becoming the seventh hotel in the Kashmir region.

Radisson RED entered Serbia by signing Radisson RED Belgrade. The brand also debuted in Helsinki, the eco-friendly capital of the happiest country, with the opening of Radisson RED Helsinki. Additionally, it entered Georgia with Radisson RED Tbilisi and signed a deal in Thailand to introduce its vibrant, sociable, and tech-savvy hospitality to the popular destination of Phuket.

Resorts remained highly significant to the Group’s operations, proprietors, and visitors. The Group added new properties including Radisson Blu Resort, Mani in Greece, Radisson Blu Resort, Kumbhalgarh in India, and Fridays Boracay, A Radisson Collection Resort in the Philippines, alongside new additions in Fiji, Turkey, and Poland, where the Group holds the title of the largest resort operator. Looking forward to 2024, resorts will maintain a crucial role in the Group’s strategic expansion strategy.
